Robyn Harrison – Principal Partner
Robyn is a registered member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has been a practicing Physiotherapist for over 30 years, and in the Balwyn area for more than 25 years. Robyn is accredited at Healthscope and Mercy St Vincent’s Hospitals, with in depth experience in orthopaedics and exercise prescription.
Robyn has extensive experience in musculoskeletal joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, electrotherapy, dry needling and exercise prescription.
Robyn has also worked alongside medical specialists and General Practitioners in the Balwyn area to ensure best outcome for patients for the majority of her practicing life and has developed strong relationships with these healthcare professionals.
Robyn works with patients at Balwyn Physio consulting in Physiotherapy as well as Exercise Rehabilitation, Falls & Balance and the in-home care program.
Clare graduated from the Otago Physiotherapy School in Dunedin in 1981 and also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Manual Therapy in Auckland in 1990. She has had a broad exposure in both hospital and private practice operating her own private practice for 8 years in the 1990’s.
Her special interests include treating spinal, sports injuries, using manual techniques and exercise prescription to achieve desired goals.
Since 1999 Clare has worked in New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong.
While based in Hong Kong Clare worked for Sports Physiotherapy International at various golf (Asian, European and One Asia Tour) events, tennis, badminton and cricket tournaments throughout the region including events in Korea, India, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and the Peoples Republic of China.
Having returned to Melbourne Clare is excited to be working again with Robyn and the Balwyn Physio team.
Hanh-Nhi has been with Balwyn Physio during her time studying Physiotherapy as an undergraduate and graduate over the past three years. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Melbourne in 2012.
During her time studying, Hanh-Nhi gained experience working at the Austin Physiotherapy Outpatients Department, Austin Emergency Department, Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and Shepparton Goulburn Valley Health Paediatrics Department.
Hanh-Nhi’s areas of interest include musculoskeletal joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, electrotherapy, dry needling and exercise prescription.
She works closely with Orthopaedic Surgeons to enable best outcome for post-surgery patients following operations such as joint replacement and soft tissue repair.
Hanh-Nhi also has experience with Clinical Rehabilitation Exercises and Falls & Balance programs. She also consults patients as part of the in-home care service available.
